I can't tell what kind of harp that is. I am familiar with pedal concert harp (orchestral, with steel strings), and for nylon string folk harps: Celtic (which I own); Paraguayan; Mexican (sometimes referred to as Mariachi Harp, but used across the region in many genres). My best guess is that it is some form of Mexican Harp, without the usual fancy head (like a ship-mast, almost, on many models). I don't think I've heard Harp in that context before, and it sounds almost like a Zither in that playing style.

The Accordionist is playing a Tango Bandoneon, I think?

Paquito D'Rivera is one of my three favourite clarinetists (the other two being Don Byron and Eddie Daniels), and one who has influenced my own playing a great deal.

Camac is a well-known and respected harp company.

So it's a hybrid of classical, celtic, and latin harps. Interesting.

The front post definitely looks like a Mexican harp, which was my only initial cue.

It does not surprise me that it is a custom design though; this is fairly common with top players.

The term "llanera" (more or less "plains") is common in Colombia (where he's from) and Venezuela.

It's less literal meaning is just to indicate something as a folk instrument, or one for the common person.

It looks like long fingernails are pretty critical. That's a problem for me with lots of instruments that I only play rarely due to needing to keep my nails super-short for my bass playing.
