This project started out as an in-the-box homage to a couple of bands I played with in the late '60's and early '70's. But then I stumbled into a more--er--interesting back-story....

Just discovered that the allegedly interesting “back-story” is only available on the desktop SoundCloud site. Sorry for the unrequited tease. That’s what you get when you try to mess with Conrad Black without completely understanding your weapons.

A "Brobdingnagian canard" is a very big false story--fake news, in plainer English--although in this story there are elements of truth. The author of the phrase is not a myth, unfortunately (he's used it several times in published works) and he did famously traffic in stolen exam papers in his youth. The instruments in the track are also canards, musical ones: VB3 II for the Hammond, Modo bass, Superior Drummer 3, (un-) Real Guitar. It's all a big canard, for which I don't deserve a presidential pardon.
