Very sad to lose him; especially as it seems likely it was a suicide.

He revived interest in overlooked bands like Love and The Monkees, amongst others.

Eugenio Upright, 60th Anniversary P-Bass, USA Geddy Lee J-Bass, Yamaha BBP35, D'angelico SS Bari, EXL1,

Select Strat, 70th Anniversary Esquire, LP 57, Eastman T486, T64, Ibanez PM2, Hammond XK4, Moog Voyager

That's sad-many years ago my band had a memorable gig at Rhino Records in NY., I still have a recording. Vinyl collectors must be especially bummed.

RIP.

Vinyl collectors? Sure, maybe...

But a lot of us wouldn't have been able to FIND CD re-issues of our favorite LPs if not for Rhino. Now, I have no idea of Mr. Stewart's role in any of that, but his death at such a relatively young age makes my sincerest condolences go out to his surviving family anf loved ones.

I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!
