JMcS
The "Quick Start Guide" is 42 pages long. Lets face it, its an organ. The real quick start guide is: Turn On Play The quick start guide actually seems to do a good job of walking new users through attaching a lower manual, pedals and other attachments and then using the menus to adjust the various features. It seems more of a tutorial and could make navigating the manual either easier or unnecessary.

wd8dky
Has anyone used the USB audio interface yet? Is it actually an ASIO interface? It's hard to tell from the description in the manual. Thank you Any thoughts on this? Thx Quote http://www.weisersound.com/
wd8dky
If you scroll down, they list a v3.2 update. Has anyone tried it? http://www.hammond.eu/Support/SystemUpgrade Quote http://www.weisersound.com/

retrokeys
I do and uploaded 3.2 with no difficulty. No major improvements on the order of 3.0 which added 3 new organ voices. I'm still waiting for them to fix the bug on the digital delay reverbs.
wd8dky
Thank you! I'm on the fence considering the purchase. I don't think too many folks own one, or so it seems. Quote http://www.weisersound.com/
retrokeys
Around here you won't find much love for them although I really like mine. Might go check the XK5 users group on Facebook for more detailed discussions
Outkaster
Yes Hammond unfortunately has a bad reputation around here. That said I still want to try an XK5 Quote "Danny, ci manchi a tutti. LX88
To me knowledge no XK5 has shown up in the Portland Oregon area so I haven't seen or heard one either. I am playing a Hammond Suzuki or sorts at the moment. An XK2 is controlling an HX3 module. I really do prefer the XK2 keybed to most of what else is out there in the clonewheel world. The HX3 is programmed so that the XK2 drawbars will work with it - upper and lower manuals. The HX3 could stand improvement but it is miles beyond the sound engine in the XK2 - obviously. It's a pretty good combination for practicing .
