Hammond Shell for SK2

Pricey, but would help with the illusion.

I checked on a custom B3 style wooden shell from Valhalla for my Mojo61 A/B. It was too cost-prohibitive for me, but a very fair price if you live in the north-eastern USA.

I guess I am not a purist, but I never understood why a Hammond had to look like a B3. I think this looks pretty cool:

But I guess it wasn't popular, because the new Hammond Portable looks like a chop.

I use their stand for my Nord C1 and always get a compliment, as well as having a great, solid feel on the gig!

I suspect that the B3p's unpopularity might not be the appearance but more the price tag. Now, if they could "chop" that. smile

I have several empty BV cabinets...same as B-3.

Haven't listed on Garage Sale but maybe I should.

I am in the Portland Oregon area but will ship. These are much lighter than a fully loaded Hammond.

Plus many more Hammond / leslie parts.

PM if interested.

All are way over-priced, may as well buy a real Hammond.

That $2000 AUD is only $1400 and change in the US.

For a made-to order, hand built to your specifications with real wood, and the labor that goes into these, that price is excellent.

IIRC, Valhalla Woodworking is about half that price.
