It says 'take 5' but we only did one take. I think I meant to type Mix 5.

Anyway, I'm using the Rhodes instrument in Logic, doubled in places by a Logic acoustic piano. The only thing missing is a live flute that will double the bass melody, but the song also works as is, imo.

I was going for a vaguely '70s CTI vibe, in the composition and then in my solo.

Really dig this. I love a good acoustic/electric piano blend, and this tune has some really beautiful harmony. I especially enjoy when it opens up for around 2:30. Thanks for sharing!
