I'm selling my 142 FrankenLeslie. I built it in 2003, originally from a 122 cabinet that someone had cut in two. It is now happily remarried! It has a 100 watt ferro fluid horn driver and a 15" Eden Woofer, both from BBOrgan. But the most outstanding feature is the 122 Amplifier that was NEW in 2003 (cost $650). (I played through this amp alongside an amp from the 1960s (145 cabinet), and the NEW amp was considerably louder and clearer. The amp also has a Schleicher Solid State Relay which only controls motor speed (not sound) and eliminates the annoying clicks one hears when changing speeds on vintage Leslies.

In 2018, I restored the black finish with Duratex. It comes with casters. I only used this Leslie on about 10 gigs and recording sessions. My current work in a Chicago tribute band is so piano-centric, and this Leslie has sat in my garage for 10 years. I oiled her up, and she sounds fantastic.

I'd like to get $1500, but that might be unrealistic in today's market, so PM me with offers. Local pickup in Northern CA or we could do freight at buyer's expense. US 48 states only.

Too bad your not in Chicago or I would be very interested. I would imagine shipping this to Chicago would be $$$$

The Freight on my B3 chop, bench, bass pedals, and wooden box that houses bass pedal electronics was about $600 from CA to Pittsburgh. Total 380 lbs. The Leslie would weigh about 150 lbs, so freight might be ??? $300??? Others who have shipped Leslies might be able to tell us.

Thank you, Legatoboy. Great resources include BBOrgan (Bill Brown), Valhalla woodworking (I replaced the wood bottom). Duratex does wonders on black surfaces (Speaker companies like JBL use it), especially if you use a textured paint roller.
