;) Yeah. And ANOTHER one I liked UNTIL hitting it "big"( "Kentucky Woman" '67, the last tune I REALLY liked). But true too, a lot of his songs DID become known as American "standards".

 

And too...ANDY COX of Fine Young Cannibals, 63, is all for today.

I saw Neil Diamond live on stage about 5 years ago in Stockton, CA. about 50 miles away from home. The city funded the show at 1 million dollars for 1 performance. They didn't sell enough tickets and were facing a huge loss so they offered tickets at reduced prices. Normally I do not attend big concerts due to crowds and traffic jams. But, for $25 bucks a piece, the wife and I took advantage of a chance to see an American icon. Glad I went. I'm not a big fan but have always liked a lot of his tunes and he put on a great show! If I had to pick just one song it would be Solitary Man. :cool:
