Just got wind of this from the KB forum....
http://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2828297/1

Since New Bay mags seem to suffer from some poor distribution in some cases (I can often find Gtr World but less often GPlayer & many times can't find KB at all + the fact that many of the gtr mags available cost many times as much as GP, I wonder what this portends for the print version of GP.

To answer my own Q...
After a careful survey oof the current GP, new owners & all, turns out things are actually quite good...IMO.

Likely I have little to offer.

The KB/KC forum posts are 2 ys old.

Your main concern was seeing GP at book stores, etc around the country ?

Not specifically...
more like how Molenda's fans made it seem the whole company was abt to go to , uh, play with hockey sticks.
Actually, as per above, each issue seems to extend story length & offer greater depth...although still far from the 70s/80s interviews.

Still seems like they really don't monitor this site much.
