No one combines sexiness with malevolence like Massive Attack does:

Mmmmmm, could be....

It's close but I think the Marvelettes take this match....

Hunter Gets Captured By The Game
(Smokey Robinson)
Everyday brings change, and the world puts on a new face
Sudden things rearrange, and this whole world seems like a new place
Oh yeah, secretly I been tailing you
Like a fox that prays on a rabbit
Had to get you and so I knew
I had to learn your ways and habits
Oh, you were the catch that I was after
But I looked up and I was in your arms and I knew that I was captured
What's this whole world comin' to
Things just ain't the same
Any time the hunter gets captured by the game

I dug out some old Los Lonely Boys Cd's that I hadn't given any attention to in a while. Just some honest playing, right there. Came across this nugget of joy (As Zorak would say). Three brothers having some good, clean fun. Ok, good, slightly overdriven fun.

A 7:30- Straps? We don't need no stinkin' straps!

Hey, I kinda fergot them Lonely Bwais---thanks for the reminder, Danz !
That one is a bit up the SRV trail,,,,here's one that shows 'em in another light.

------------------
Speaking of diff lights, we all know PRN was a great player but di ya ever hear him go country ?
I dont mean that Purple Rain semi-country but some real, ped steel stylin' country gtr licks ?

Dig 0:45~3:25 !

IF ONLY HE'D KEPT IT UP THROUGH THE MAIN SOLO (although it showcases some cool stuff as well) ! idk
To quote Ms Crow [4:43~4:48], "The artist formerly known as A-a-AA-a-a aa, hey yeah-ayeah !"

Listening to that concurrently w/ typing this.
Kinda cool.
How'd they get Robbie Robertson to play piano ? grin facepalm

But I'll see yer Waterbwais w/this Whirled Party track, which pays sneaky tribute to Lips McGee & the Strolling Ruins's "Sympathy 4 the Debbil"

& raise ya this real world party track from one of our greatest but little know modern singers.
Dig the synth that wanted to be a gtr (at 2:05~2:23)

West's (he's still alive, right ?) a truly great player w/distinctive tone but let's give credit to Pappalardi's production skills fer making Mountain sound better than Cream ever did. twothumbs

In a happy accident, YT dialed this up for me immediately aft the orig track ended...
simultaneously more nuanced & bombasticalicious.
