Aqib Talib to the Rams? With them getting Marcus Peters last week? Wow.

I'm psyched! The Broncos won a Super Bowl with Aqib Talib coached by Wade Phillips, and the Rams offense is already better than Denver's was that year. With Talib and Peters on defense, I like LA's chances this year. (And let's not forget that they already had Aaron Donald and and Michael Brockers.)

Richard Sherman signs with San Francisco 49ers, whoda thunk? :idk

https://sports.yahoo.com/report-richard-sherman-49ers-agree-three-year-deal-011735309.html

I'm not sure how much gas Sherman has left in the tank after injuries to both Achilles tendons; but if he still can play anything like he used to, we could see a return of the days when the division belonged to the Rams and 49ers.

Best,

Yeah, that's really rather exciting for Rams fans. Wow is right.

Raiders need to go after Suh. He would make a good and proper Raider.

Lots of deals in the NFL right now. The biggest story is that Minnesota purged their wealth of quarterbacks and is bringing in Kirk Cousins for a three-year fully guaranteed salary; but the shocker for me is that Green Bay cut Aaron Rodgers's favorite target, Jordy Nelson. Not surprisingly, New Orleans signed Drew Brees to a new deal. More here:

The QB position is going as I expected in free agency.

I'm not surprised that QB Cousins got that deal from Minny. Hopefully, he'll be able to prove that he's worth every dollar. I certainly don't think he'll crash and burn like Brock Osweiler.

Keenum should do well in Denver. The Jets are a good team for Bridgewater to restart his playing career. I hope Bradford gives the Cardinals an entire season.

Players are moving around the league quickly. Gonna need a spreadsheet to keep up with who's playing on which team. :D:cool:

Always happy to see the high maintenance showboaters go elsewhere.

maybe now you can teach him how to solder correctly. :)

Don't waste any time on that diva. Let Dez languish in Jacksonville, Detroit or Miami.

Once he accepts that he'll never win a Super Bowl, he'll retire about 3 years from now. :D:cool:

Draft Night

Will the Bears do something sensible and take Roquan Smith or Tremane Edmunds, or Quenton Nelson, Mike McGlinchey, or maybe Denzel Ward...... or will they be tricky and do something stupid again trying to show genius.

A rumor gaining a ton of traction is Browns will take Baker Mayfield because Scot McCloughan (former Redskins GM) is a huge Mayfield fan. Scot McCloughan is a draft consultant to the Browns. I would take Darnold over Mayfield. But its the Browns ... So who knows.

Giants never played Davis Webb, so we dont know how he is perceived. My gut thinks they think hes as good as any of the prospects, so they go for Barkley.

They dont really have any trade partners; Bills arent high enough. If Barkley goes 1, theyll take Chubb. if they do take a QB, I am guessing Rosen.

One more thing, Josh Allens high school tweets are going to hurt him. Young mistakes? I wouldnt take him.

I wouldn't either .... Not in the 1st round. NFL Ds will pick him like a chicken. He wasn't accurate in college. At least he is a cold weather player.
