A couple of weeks old news apparently.

"..After more than 4 years we regret to say that we're not manufacturing this instrument any more, it's officially discontinued. We wish to thank everyone who trusted in us and chose this instrument to enrich their music..". Thinning the herd?

Yeah. And although they are different and the Burn more versatile in some ways, I have rarely if ever heard from someone in this community that prefers it to the Vent for Leslie.

Might be simply that they're not selling anymore. Just speculation.

I bought one when they first came out and like it a lot. I do not have a Vent or Leslie to compare it to, however. Most of the time it's hooked up to my M3 as a Leslie substitute, but I do connect it to my Electro or Stage. Really lights it up nicely. I like the versatility.

Sorry to see it go, but glad I have one.

Steve Nathan is the biggest name here that I can recall preferring the Burn over the Vent. Steve?

took me all of 45 seconds to find from the owners manual online:

20. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
– 0 dBFS equivalent (max level before digital clip) 3 Vpp (1,05 Vrms, 0,51 dBV @ 20 Kohm load)
– Headphone out max load 32 ohm
– Headphone out max power 20 dBm @ 32 ohm
– Input impedance 1 Mohm
– Output impedance 20 Kohm
– S/N ratio >80 dBA

And from the picture on the back of BURN the plug is center positive

Yeah, I'm the guy that had to duck every time I said it, but I never liked the Vent. Still prefer the Burn.

Hey Steve ( I just heard in my imagination "Steve" or was it "Hey Steve" on Soul Man.. referring to the iconic Steve Cropper)
Care to suggest a setting or two for the Burn?? ( Also ducking grin )
