Once I dated a voluptuous redhead. She was lovely to touch and very accommodating. Versatile too! I rarely felt the need to touch others while I was with her. Ten years we were together, through thick and thin, gigs for the bartender and fly-overs to Europe. We had history together.

Well, time went on and you know how these things go. A hotter, younger redhead came my way. She was lighter and edgier. Didn't mind sharing me with my main squeeze. Bonus! Over time, I actually started seeing her more, and my first love less.

But...she didn't do everything, if you know what I mean. No "pitch bend." No "modulation." I don't mean to be graphic, but we're all friends and I feel I can be open with you. Not to mention, at 61, she was just a little to young for me. I like my girls with a little mileage on them. 88 is too old for most of my desires. 73 is just the right age for me.

Also, while her action was quite fast, if you know what I mean, sometimes a man likes it a little slower, a little heavier, a little more "weighted." Not always. But sometimes.

I started to realize I needed to break up with both of my girls. It's never easy. But a man has to do what he has to do.

Suddenly, through the miracle of internet dating, my dream woman fell into my lap. Redhead, like I like. Not too old at 88, not too young at 61. A perfect 73. Lovely action that lets a man go fast but offers just enough resistance to go slower if he wishes. Everything I used to value about my first love, combined with everything I dug about about my younger girlfriend. All in one board. And get this: She does "everything." Pitch bend. Oh, yeah. Modulation. Uh-huh. "Bleed-over" split points to address how stubborn redheads can be about letting you split them "anywhere," if you know what I mean.

She takes her B3 seriously. She does a lovely impression of someone called "Leslie." She sings like an angel and plays piano like a dream. She's not even very heavy--not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yes, KC, I am here to report that I have found my dream woman. She is one month old, which is not as weird in her culture as it sounds, and has had only other other boyfriend who barely touched her. She prefers that I call her something like "Stage 3 Compact," which I assume is some millennial slang for "the perfect woman." For now, I just call her "Red." She and I both know what it means. We are very happy together and although our time together only started today, I foresee a long and beautiful relationship between us.

Congrats. We demand pictures of your new girl. Maybe even a video of her in action.

This brought back a lot of memories. I had a two-year affair with her grandmother, Stage 3 Compact.

Wonderful while it lasted. But eventually, I needed more. With her, it was all about performance. Performance is great, but a guy needs a little editing time, too. Plus, I was hoping that some strings would eventually be attached. No strings, at least none that I wanted. Lots of other things missing as well. Even her pad was thin and bare.

I've moved on to a completely satisfying relationship. smile

I've been with my gal for almost 7 years now - hard to believe. She's a black girl born in Japan with a greek name - pretty exotic. She's got multiple personalities (9 of them to be exact) and I can coax any of them out of her just by touching her face.

Once you've done red, it's hard to go back.

She's physically attractive. Indeed, everyone in her family is, errr ... not only voluptuous but incredibly talented. So hard to resist ...

Her voice can be seductively emotional, whatever my mood. She can turn heads with the simplest of melodies. And when she speaks, it's with the utmost authority.

She is trustworthy, and has never, ever let me down when I've needed it. Can't say that about others. She's always there when I need her, especially in a tight spot.

I've taught her a few tricks, and she's taught me a few as well. Nothing I'm comfortable sharing in public, of course. And there's always more to learn about each other. It's going to be a long relationship.

And the feeling under my fingers! So responsive ...

So I had this threesome with a Ginger and a nicely tanned midget. The Ginger was kind of a throwback to some vintage old gals but never really quite matching the originals. The midget was well... small and compact, and seemed to only be able to speak one word at a time, but she sounded good, especially when you diddled her knobs. You could also hook them together and they would start playing with each other, which could be kind of nice.

Brotha MOI, congrats in acquiring your new bottom. I hope that it's just the beginning of a wonderful, long and lasting love affair. thu

I may be going through a similar change. My bottom piece is safe. But, the top piece may be on its way out. It's a VA but the implants and injections seem real. I could make it work.

Still, I know it could be a little thicker. I was reminded of it when I laid hands on a 6-voice, monotimbral RA with walnut hips. Everything I dialed on it was a sonic treat and made playing a funky blast. Spank the sides and the plate reverb twangs.

Yep. The VA is on the sale block. If I can find it a great new home, I will be moving in that walnut dripping in caramel real soon.

To be honest, the new catch sits right between the 37-key monophonic RA I had and the VA I may be passing along.

I always knew there was something special between me and the walnut RA. I tried to be practical. But, life is short. I'm too old to compromise and/or settle.

If this hot revised young thang breaks my heart, it's all good. I doubt that it will. Paired up with the bottom piece, I envision a funky good time. grin cool

You guys triggered nostalgic old memories of my protracted love affair with my best girl. I'll call her "B". A little heavy for some I guess, but I loved everything about her. Her shape, the color of her skin, her scent, her touch and her responsiveness to my touch. Just everything. When I finally was able hook up in a threesome with her sister Leslie, I was in heaven.
memories...

By the way, I am sorry to say I found some porn that has my new girl in it. Well, it sure looks like her. My girl is only 73. Anyway, I'm not going to lie, I have watched this all the way through and it did a little something for me. OK, a lot of something. I am smoking a cigarette right now to recover, and I don't smoke.

She is the bomb.

As I try to figure out the best gig rig for my reborn musical efforts, this keyboard just keeps rearing it's pretty red head. I told myself I wouldn't go Nord this time around, but the SC3 solves so many problems all at once. I currently have a Nord A1 Lead in my possession, but I may send it back and exchange for an SC3. The A1 engine is wonderful, but the keyboard is crap, and that matters a lot. I need to find one and tinker with the SC3 synth section a little because it might be enough for my modest synth needs.

NS3C73 uses the A1 engine for the synth, and I can neither confirm nor deny that I just spent at least two hours down the rabbit hole of synth sound-crafting, like a bearded hipster at a NAMM booth.

This board. My dream woman.

I see you're in SF. If you end up down in SoCal, you're more than welcome to come play it and see if it suits your needs.

I'd love to see a video of what the synth section is capable of. Seen plenty of A1 vids but would love to see S3 specific vids. Feel free to record and post a porno of your new girl.

The SC3 synth is simplified from the A1 Lead, though I'm not knowleageable enough to say exactly how.

I'm down in San Diego a lot to see family. Los Angeles is strictly a "fly over" city for me.

My only real gripe so far is all the damned reverb on all the patches. Every one. My tweaking is 15% sound personalizing and organization, 85% reverb off, reverb off, reverb off, reverb off....

It is a sin and a shame that manufacturers saturate sounds with too much sugar (effects).

I immediately go global and turn off all effects when auditioning a KB. laugh cool

I've had a thing for Swedish redheads since the first time I saw one. They're definitely at their best in their 70s, and not carrying too much weight.

The thing about mine (and I think Dan's Japanese squeeze is the same): she loves controlling, and she loves being controlled. I've introduced her to another girl, about the same size, but not as high-maintenance, budget wise. The three of us get hooked up and "make beautiful music together", if you know what I mean. And although the Swede gets on top, the other one just... controls her completely.

Cheers, Mike.
