HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JACK, RAY, JOOLS AND BETH!

AND A SPECIAL HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NEIL DIAMOND! It is sad to hear of his diagnosis of Parkinson's and he is no longer going to be touring. I have always enjoyed his writing and singing. He has come up with some real classics. I was lucky to see him live in Stockton, CA about 10 years ago +/- and he put on a great show! Here's one of my favorite songs by Neil:

Yeah. THAT'S the one that made me an early "fan" of Neil's.

But it's another day.....

I'll Start with EDDIE VAN HALEN, who despite his effort, reaches 63 today ;) Can't keep a good man down is right.

DEREK HOLT of The Climax Blues Band is 69;

DAVID BRIGGS of The Little River Band is 67;

CHARLIE GILLINGHAM of Counting Crows is 58;

WILLIE ALDER from Lamb Of God is 42.

Yeah, I usually DO list these in order of oldest to youngest, but in here I thought EDDIE deserved TOP BILLING. ;)

All I got for today is "Little" JONNY LANG turning 37!

Damn! Seems like only yesterday this kid hit the scene at about 13 or 14 playing at a level it took many of us until we were in our mid 20's to reach. :o

Hell. I didn't even START learning to play in earnest until 13. :crazy:

Give a listen here and ask yourself--- How were YOU doin' when YOU were 14?
