Don't think it's been discussed here. I just saw it in San Diego. As much I as I was scared it wouldn't live up to the almost impossibly high bar all the hype has set, I was pretty blown away.

A masterpiece! And some wonderful keyboard writing as well.

Good to hear!

It's coming here in the fall, and my daughter has been nuts about it for a while. I fear the ticket prices. Might be cheaper to fly to NYC to see it.

Terrific here in Chicago. My wife and daughter have seen it twice in Chicago and once in NY. A dear friend was on top of this 3 years ago before it was big, so we are well educated on the history and life of Alexander. Some playable piano tunes, but musically excellent but relatively hard.
