I received a CES update announcement from Roland/Boss today, and it was easy to mis-read one of the new products as an Amplifier for Air Guitar. :-)

"KATANA-AIR Guitar Amplifier"

For air guitar you can have any size amp you want. Twin stacks, 3 or 4 columns wide are a good starting point.

Pretty neat little amp set up with the receiver inside and the transmitter supplied with the amp. Just that alone would cost $125 bucks. Boss has always made good quality stuff at low prices so I have high hopes for that little amp if the price is right. I already can go with my Roland EX4 Cube for a battery worthy busking practice amp and add the transmitter if I wanted to get away from the cord...anyway it's cute! I can see the kids with their cell phone apps having a ball and sending sharing their endless recordings all over the world LOL! cool

I hadn't even thought of that; that it's sort of the BOSS take on the Roland Cube (must remember to use all-caps for BOSS -- is it an acronym?).

Sometimes they use all caps but most of the time it's just Boss...I don't have any idea if it is an acronym, but I know they are a division of the Roland Corporation...probably where they got the idea and just put the Boss name on it to give themselves competition LOL! cool

grin A REAL sidetrack!

You reminded me of a gag I heard a comic in a comedy club tell about masturbation:

"You can make love to anyone you wish at anytime. No requests for call backs, dinners and no performance problems. For example---I made love to FARRAH FAWCETT 26 times! It wasn't so great at first, but by now she knows what I like." grin
