Hey folks,

this is my last shameless self-promoting video this year whistle

I don't really know what compelled me but this year I wanted to write a christmas song. It turned out to be more of a song about christmas than a christmas song, but I'm glad I did it, because the making was such an immense pleasure. I got a bunch of friends, family and colleagues to spend some time contributing to recording, mixing and - most of all - showing off their worst dance moves in freezing temperatures.

I hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a great holiday season!

That was really nice - well done! I liked it. thu

Was the EP sound from one of the Nords? That bass had to be the Moog, right?

Hey Joe, thanks!

The Rhodes is Scarbee with some Tape and B3-CV plugins, the bass is a Roland Boutique JU06... smile

Moritz,
This is exceptional. I loved everything about it. The song is great, the production superb and watching your friends dancing in the clip put a big smile on my face. I'm glad you decided to write a Christmas song/Song about Christmas smile. You nailed it.

Cheers

Hey Gino, thanks so much for the kind words smile !
The trombone player, Tim Coggins, is also based in Sydney, he plays in a bunch of great bands and also does a lot of keyboard work. Maybe you want to check him out, here's his website.
