I have a trusted friend looking to find a buyer for his Fender Rhodes MkI, 1972. It's in very good cosmetic condition. PM me if you're in the northern NJ area to check it out and maybe make an offer.

Yeah, very good original shape. I'd make an offer myself, but I can't bring home another one without selling mine or the Mrs. would freak.

Around my parts, that would fetch $1500 easy.

I'm tempted but I don't think I could offer a fair price.

Yeah, I don't mean to derail anyone's desire for a good deal. If the seller isn't putting up a definite price, then go for it. He wants to sell. Just saying in my neck of the woods it's a seller's market at the moment.

I sold a similar 1972 Mk1 in this condition in 2017 to a church for $2,000.

That's around the exact same year and model I bought in St. Louis and used around there until I moved to LA in '79.

I used it for years out here with a Prophet 5 on top. Then when the Eddie Reynolds mod became the LA thing , I sold the MkI for one of those.

Never liked the Reynolds model anywhere near as much. But that was THE sound everyone in town that was working at that time had.

The cosmetic condition looks to be pristine.
