Good thought, JuJu. If we dig deep into rock history, we can come up with a lot of good bands.....

NOKIE EDWARDS--guitar(lead)

GENE VINCENT--rhythm guitar, vocals

JERRY LEE LEWIS--keys, vocals

SANDY NELSON--drums

A bit more "modern"---

DAVID CLAYTON-THOMAS--vocals

TERRY KATH--guitar

DREW ABBOTT--rhythm guitar

JERRY CORBETTA--keys, vocals

SKIP PROKOP--drums

Theyre great, but so are a lot of supergroups. What makes TTB different Id the marriage at its heart that glues the band together. Few supergroups record more than 1-2 albums. Anyway, back to the fun:

Ambient New Wave Funk Rock Exploration

Sax & Vox: David Bowie

Guitar & Vox: Prince

Guitar: Nicky Skopelitis

Bass, Vox: Doug Pinnick

Drums: Stewart Copeland

Keyboards: Herbie Hancock

Jazz/Fusion

Trumpet: Mikes Davis

Guitar, Vox: George Benson

Bass: Victor Wooten

Drums: Billy Cobham

Keyboards & Piano: Jools Holland

Classic Rock/C&W fusion

Vox: David Coverdale

Guitar, Vox: Bonnie Raitt

Guitar, Vox: Ry Cooder

Bass: Dennis Crouch

Drums: Frank Beard

MICK ABRAHAMS--lead guitar

STEVE HACKETT--rhythm guitar

JOHN LOCKE--keys

CAS CHANDLER--bass

PETE BEST--drums

  • 2 years later...

ghost thread revival: Pop rock

Andy Partridge - Guitar, Vox

Ben Folds - Piano, Vox

Jason Falkner - Bass, Keys, Guitar, Vox

Mike Keneally - Bass, Keys, Guitar, Vox

Abe Laboriel Jr. - Drums, Vox

Probably would play mostly XTC and Ben Folds songs but give the other guys a little love too, pass it around, call the band, I don't know, "The Dukes of Whatever?"
