It was good - pretty interesting for fans of Pink Floyd at any rate. You're never sure how much post-production overdubbing goes on but it sounded really nice in the cinema. Quite amazing vocal harmonies.

Unlike the recent Roger Waters movie you were able to see quite a lot of the band members playing too.

Greg Phillinganes and Chuck Leavell playing keys.

Sax player didn't get the memo about the dress code.

Very little "doco" stuff, maybe 10 minutes at the start. The rest was all concert footage with a little bit of Gilmour talking to the audience in his introverted manner.

Floyd music just doesn't sound the same without Rick Wright for some reason it always feels like something's missing.

Ads for it have been infecting my FB feed for weeks. I did wonder how Waters feels about Gilmour's strapline: 'The Voice and Guitar of Pink Floyd'.

Is there anyone Phillinganes hasn't played with?
