This may be the processor that entices me to upgrade my PC for the first time in almost 6 years. Whether on Mac or PC this should be a significant improvement.

Anyone else have their eye out for this?

I'm happy with 4790k.
Just put together 2 more new builds including this 1U.
More watts/speed is no big deal.
I can overclocking my i7s to match performance gains from the last 4 quads Intel released.
AMD Ryzens are nice but not necessary.
If they have a new chip in 2018 with Vega iGPU I might be interested.
But doubt I'll need one until 2021.
