Hi! I will soon be moving to a new location. Unfortunately, there will be space limitations, and I will need a way to store all of my keyboards that I do not use a lot. Preferably on not more than two stands total, as far as floor space goes. You can see my collection here, on page 21. Dig My Rig - Let's see your setup! The Motif and YS200 would remain on the current stand, preferably, so "everything else" would have to be on another stand. "Everything else" (the stuff that should go on the stand) will not include the digital piano, accordions, and organs, of course. I most likely will continue to acquire instruments, so some hope of expansion would be nice. Budget: <$500 Suggestions? I took a brief look at the Jaspers stands, although I am in the US. Thanks! -Max EDIT: "Everything Else" at this time includes a 76-key Yamaha YPG-235, a 61-key PSR-295, a 49-key Casiotone( ), and sometimes possibly the 61-key YS200 (although I use it when performing with a band as a MIDI controller).

The large Clavinova is not going on a stand. I edited my original post to make it easier to understand.

Have you considered wall mount? Standtastic has some wall mount brackets that work with their tiers....saves a lot of space.

Oh I thought the motif was going there In my original post I said that the Motif and the YS200 would remain on the current stand. I was referencing to the stand that those two keyboards are pictured on in the linked thread. It is a two-tiered On-Stage Z-stand. It would be nice for something of that size to fit, but not necessary.

Have you considered wall mount? Standtastic has some wall mount brackets that work with their tiers....saves a lot of space. How would those hold up to future placement of relatively heavy instruments (up to 75 lbs, i.e. Roland Fantom)? I only ask this because I know that this new house is virtually perfect so far as interior, and I do not want to deal with rips in the sheet rock/gouges out of log walls, etc. Also, how would those remain attached?

I only ask this because I know that this new house is virtually perfect so far as interior, and I do not want to deal with rips in the sheet rock/gouges out of log walls, etc. Also, how would those remain attached? There are vertical supports that the tiers adjust to. I would make sure you land the connections in the studs and they could support just about anything. The tiers are vertically adjustable. The width of the tiers would have to be based on the spacing of the studs (presumably 18" increments, so likely 38"). This is the wallmount kit: Clonk These are the tier arms: CLONK Adjustable 12"-22" depth and something like 4 angles from 90 degrees (from the wall) to more steep than you would likely want. I didn't see a weight specification but the stands themselves hold quite a bit. If you mount the uprights to the studs, it should hold a hell of a lot. Price $30 plus $45 per tier for a single set....so for instance, $165 for a single 3 tier wall mount. Not too bad.

I use the Standtastic wall mount. Right now I have a JX3P, Kurzweil 361, Motif ES6 and a Roland VR 760 on it. I used some U-bolts to be able to get a right angle for the bottom two keyboards and made some steel supports to take out the bounce. It has been up for years with no problem. Very solid but a pain to get the angles and distances correct.
