I had this dream last night. I was playing a beautiful Les Paul, clear blue sunburst it was as light as a feather, and playing clean lead licks, the tone did a bleed like in high overdrive. The store wanted $1400 for it, so I decided to put $50 down to lock the sale in, and then go home and fight with the wife about it ;~) Then I said to myself, man you are old, your nerves are starting to dull out and your touch is getting sloppy (which is true in real awake life). But then I said the heck with it, and pulled the trigger on the deal, and then I woke up. Talk about a nice dream for a guitar player.....
cheers

That's a lovely dream.
I mostly don't have musical dreams but I did once dream that Jimi Hendrix suggested I tune down a half step. So I did, not in the dream, but for an actual gig.

In any guitar dreams( and they're seldom) I have I play WAY better than I ever did(or can) and never have "inner conflicts" about anything. And often I'm multi-instrumental, able to play Chopin and Prokoviev with EASE. So....

Are you SURE it was a dream? Or did you simply SOBER UP and not WAKE UP? wink
