"Electric" folk singer TRINI LOPEZ turns 80 years old today. Many if not most of you might not think much of it or him, but he at least rated a model of Gibson guitar as a "signature" model. At a time when Gibson was still considered "state of the art" in the market.

That's no small feat. I thought he was OK, and at a time when much younger guitar "heroes" are dropping like flies, it's good to know someone from "the day" is still holding out. It's almost enough to make me want to plant a lemon tree. wink
Whitefang PS: When I first saw Trini on TV he was playing a "Barney Kessel".
