The newest release from Geoff Alpert will be sure to keep you dancing all night long! Alpertís newest album called Open Your Heart, will be sure to open up your heart and ears to these amazing jazz funk sounds. This album has been a long time coming from Geoff and it is definitely safe to say that it was worth the wait.

After the painful passing of his wife in 2002, he went back to his roots and picked up the trombone once again and used the music as a vessel to convey his emotions. With the help of bassist Darryl Williams and musical director/keyboardist Gail Johnson, he was able to create this incredible album. It contains a mix of jazz, pop, R&B and highlights Alpertís exceptional trombone playing. You donít necessarily need to be a jazz lover in order to find the beauty in this album. Everyone can find something that they love about this album.

You can listen to the beautiful collection of ten songs on iTunes here:, CD Baby here: and Amazon here:

Be sure to keep up with Geoff on his official website for any updates.

Thanks for picking the best, if not most visited, page in the MP Forums, in which to post this plug for good ol' Geoff's new project. You've certainly earned your advertising commission.

Does kinda look spammy but there's something odd: blabbermouth's CV info lists 2 posts.
Checking to see the other, there's in fact only 1 displayed... idk
