I've been re-visiting my favorite Level 42 CD, Staring At The Sun. Mostly for the outstanding drumming from Gary Husband, who is also a wonderful keyboardist, currently playing keys for Billy Cobham. I especially like his drumming on track #2 - I Don't Know Why (4:40 mark) and Over There (13:45) and Man (36:34).

I just love this band. Great songs, meaningful lyrics, fantastic musicianship, and they groove like a mofo.

Bad porn music. Who composes this shit?

Even I could write better lyrics than: "Ooooo.... Yeahhhhh... Ooooo.... Yeahhhhh...."

Ralph Towner, "Old Friends, New Friends" and suddenly, "Catwalk" by Tangerine Dream. Also a couple of new pieces over which I am laboring, which reminds me of how great I am. :Python:

That's a great record, Philip. Our own Mitch Towne is on Hammond for "Push"! :rawk:

The singer's giving me chills on that. Who is it? Is that the track with The Emotions?

As for me, I'm revisiting this show, as a guitar player friend is putting a tribute show together. :thu:

Been reacquainting myself with Air recently as I'm seeing them at a festival this summer and found this live performance from a few years back. The video quality isn't that great, but there's loads of nice gear on stage!

Still toying with the idea of getting a looper and wanted to find someone doing it with keys and a drum pad. This was pretty inspiring.

Some really good new prog bands on that show and Phil Wilding is good with paylists so you can find them, such as the Von Herzen Bros and Special Providence.
