As I have checked all over the net LOL,
Perhaps I'm missing something,is there any reason you would use
scatter plates with absorption(combined)in corners.
Seems to me,would you not be reflecting a huge percentage of the low end especially wooden plates that have slots in them.
Even real diffusors with absorption don't get recommended for corners.
Heck you can find all sorts of places to put diffusion but nothing I have found doesn't even say anything about why you shouldn't put diffusion in corners even with absorption.
I use RT diffusion but not in corners...

You can't diffuse bass frequencies, nor should you. Well, I guess you could if you have a diffuser that's six feet deep! grin But you still don't want to do that. Bass reverb just sounds muddy, and makes short distinct bass notes run together which is never good. So absorption is a better choice.
