Today is one of the saddest days of my life. My wife and partner of 47 Years has been called up to that great rock & roll band in the heavens to be reunited with Bo Diddley, Jerome Green and Clifton James. The last hour and a quarter I spent by her side and the last thing I said to her was the quote above regarding Diddley and band. The other thing I added at the end of it is that band doesn't have a bass player and for them to please hold that seat until it is my time join them. The incredible part of this is immediately after saying this to her there was a quick sound that came from her and right then her heart stopped beating. Many of you know about the Bo Diddley connection but in case not my wife's professional stage name is Lady Bo.

I have basses to play, places to be and good music to make!

I wish I could pass along the words that would ease the pain you are going through but words could never be enough. The only thing I can offer is to remember the good times together, I'm sure you had a bunch.

When I tell people about our little group here you and your wife's careers are always mentioned and to those who know good music, it is always a highlight.

My condolences.

I am utterly heartbroken for both of you. I wish I could say something consoling, but there is no consolation in such a great loss. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Wally, so sorry for your loss. I hope you look back on your 47 years together for what it was--a wonderful gift.

Praying for peace for you and your family.

Wally, I'm saddened to hear this. I'm praying for comfort and strength for you and the rest of the family, until the day you have a joyous reunion with her. Hold on to the memories and the music.

Wally,
Very saddened to hear this. 47 years together is a time that many never receive, and you as a couple were blessed in that time. I'm also praying for you and yours.

She leaves a legacy of classic work, and, I'm sure, your time together, and your love for her, brought her comfort and joy.

My sincere condolences to you.

Be well, Wally.

I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.

Wishing you peace of knowing she is no longer in pain and the richness of who you are because of the life you had with her.
God Bless...
