A reason why I collect old keyboards is that I feel partly responsible for doing it, responsible for preserving history and being a custodian for these things

It occurred to me over the past year that I have a real problem learning "by heart" various pieces by Webern (variations) and Schoenberg (the "gigue" and the "intermezzo"), so I figure if I can't end up memorizing the "Children's Piece" by Webern by osmosis, eventually, I should keep trying.

Angelo Debarre & Ludovic Beier - Minor Swing

Huge fan of Ludovic's recordings; he's a great source of keys solo ideas.

The Dust Brothers' production...

Paul's Boutique, Odelay, Guero... Damn! Little bit of Supernatural and MMMBop in there as well, heh.

I've heard her play this twice on solo piano. Never with Orchestra which is how I prefer it.

Need to get the score and rip off some licks for my keyboard solo.

Leon Bridges Tiny Desk

Pretty damn good, even if they could've used a drummer (or a click track) on the second tune. WIsh I could write songs like that.

Hidden Rivers - Where Moss Grows. A lovely cliche-free bit of minimal ambient electronica.
