was just wondering if anyone had any idea how many Conklin Groovetools basses were produced? The last I read, Conklin had decided to stop production on the Groovetools series, and return to only building custom instruments, but their website seems to be a little out dated, and says they are still in production...
Basically, I have written the company that built the series, but haven't heard anything back. I was kind of hoping that someone might have an approximate number of Groovetools instruments that were produced? I own a GT-5 Groovetools, and I love it, but I was just wondering if this is becoming a rare-ish bass, and if the value has increased or decreased since production stopped? It's a reasonable question given the fact that it is somewhat difficult to actually find a Groovetools bass for sale ANYWHERE. They are out there, but you really have to look.
