Sweet! That was a big week. I'm feeling your mood. In the past month I picked up a Prophet 6, Virus TI2, Arp Odyssey, and several sample libraries. The modular synth bug is starting to get into me too. Now, I just need more time to make music!

I "nickel and dimed" my xmas allotment this year grin

Got a Behringer uphoria 404 to replace my motley crew of interfaces I had...was using a zoom H2 as the interface, it just was kind of clunky. Very happy so far, quiet and sounds fine (Haven't tested the mic pres yet.

Got Addictive Keys, all three keyboards, on the 50% off sale. Not sure the cp70/80 will ever be used, but they got me on the "diminishing cost as you buy more" thing smile

Bought two guitar pedals, both "clones" so the price was rock bottom. One is a Fender amp sim pedal and one is an overdrive. Both sound great.

Going to spend $50 on a Valhalla reverb plugin--but I have analysis paralysis right now. All four V plugins sound awesome smile Probably leaning toward vintage verb. Just the demos of these have made a big difference on everything I'm doing in Logic, from piano sound to guitars, compared to the built-in reverbs.

All this is leading up to an Electro 5, assuming I can sell my VR700...no bites on CL so far.

Recent buys: a minty Kurz PC3x, Gig Performer and today arrives a new MacBook Pro with 16Gb RAM and a 1Tb SSD that I will be using for live work.
Love the strings on the Kurzweil. Almost bought a Kronos but the MacBook will fill in the bits I'm missing from the PC3x and the MOXF8.

Kemper Profiling Amp. As this is my 2nd recent post in this thread, I am clearly in a buying/selling frenzy. Also in the past month: Dotcom format modular synthesizer, Oberheim Ob-6, Roli Seaboard - a few virtual instruments.
Parted with: Vox AC-30 Handwired, Harpejji K-24, Hammond BV with Leslie.
Soon to go: Speakeasy Preamp, Line 6 HD500, Various unused pedals and amps.

Will be at least CLOSE to a cash neutral frenzy.

The Kemper is worth it's own thread.

I was thinking about the DeepMind 12 but in the end went for a great finance deal on the Prophet 12.

I was going to sell my Kronos 2 but when push came to shove I couldn't bear to let it go, I've always sold one synth to fund the new one before.

Also I don't have much room, just an alcove!...how to fit 2 synths in???...

This bolted straight to the desk!...

Congrats. I think you made a wise choice. Some purist poo-poo the digital oscillators, but I think the "non-standard" ones they included really expand the variety of sounds you can get from it.

The Pro 12 is on my radar.. I may just end up getting the module though to save some money and space. But I do love all the knobage on the keyboard version!

HAHAHAHA. I showed my wife a picture of the CFX and played "The Price is Right". She started at $65k and we kept going up and up and up. She was shocked at the MSRP. Speaking of, what do these normally sell for ("street price").

I was looking for variety too, don't have much space so everything has to bring as much as possible sound wise.

Thanks guys! I played one in the store, and fell in love with it. The action is amazing. Never thought one would show up at the door.
I did ask about the CFX "street price". Apparently, when you reach that level, there really isn't much of a street price.

Got a Motif XS6 on the way, for just under $1200. Can't wait to integrate it into my Mainstage setup.

Needed a nice analog poly so the Deepmind 12 showed up at my door. Then had to accessorize with new cables and pedals. Noticing I've run out of space, then comes a new Standtastic 3-tier. Perhaps I should shut off my internet access for a while. crazy
