I only have two. Dotted eighth. And quarter rest. And the second one is sort of an anti-note.

Only tangentially related, but I totally love a crescendo.

Ok, yeah I'll take "both" of those. I do like to play stuff in Eb, Bb and F. I mostly play a 5 string so flat keys are pretty cool.

I've been playing with a big band for a while. Everything is in flat keys. I've got a detuner peg on my four string which I use once in a while on the last note of a tune in Eb.

I don't know about favorites, but there seem to be notes I play with greater frequency that others. I play in church so I guess D is right up there. My open E and A strings sustain forever and sound pretty good. Not sure about the remaining two.

Whoops favorite 5 notes. Caffeine hadn't kicked in yet when I posted that blush

When I pick up the bass I do seem to go straight to the D major Pentatonic so I guess I'll go with that.

Just for the record, I started this thread as sort of a goof, since we tend to have a lot of "top five this" and "top five that."

I actually can't stand F#.

Quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note, dotted quarter note, dotted eighth note.

Wow, that actually adds up to 4 beats.

I know its only 4 notes but to me its the ultimate reference to witch music should be measured against.

Eb is, of course, my least favorite.

I'd need six.
