Bumping this thread because I didn't want to start a separate one for this video. It's Heart's original guitarist Roger Fisher...and some really interesting ideas of his.

Wow, when I saw the name Elliot Gould--- freak

Nice looking Strat style...although the particular colours might clash w/one's wardrobe, at times.
The LP style is less so, for me at least...& I simply doen't know why one would want that lumpy neck. idk
Also the 4 & 2 tuner arrangment's not uncommon.

The LED position markers idea is cool.
Can those things be controlled on those student Strats ?
(can't think of the trade name)

Here's a kinda sorta similar idea.

Well d, since this IS a "roll your own" thread, I didn't notice....

Is there a KIT for that LED job that one can put together themselves?

Can't find one yet but at less than $300 for those Strats & Teles (& 7 colors switchable in the same gtr) why would one bother buying an acrylic Start & a separate kit ?

For doot-yerselfers, here's another idea for creating a distinct & unique paint job. At 1st I wondered how the paint got transfered but that's revealed in the final moments.
