The Boss. Live at the Main Point 1975.

I often regret never seeing Bruce and the band live back in the day...

He's still great! I saw them this year, and it was a fantastic gig - 3+ hours of energy, the E street band still rocking, plus horns, backing vocals.

Thanx for this. I already bought it, very nice. If you like this kind of thing, you will appreciate a japan trio called Mousse On the Sky.

Right this very minute? The hum of the fluorescent lights above the desk in my office.

I work in a closed, classified area. We are not allowed to bring anything electronic into the room, nor allowed to put any media of any type into our cornputers (yes, not even a commercial CD).

Makes for long days when there is a lot of desk work to do...

Happy Thanksgiving, all~

Pretty much all this year, the answer has been NRBQ. I first heard of them in April 2012 and the obsession is not yet waning. This video was where my education started:

Interesting keyboard technique.

I was always delighted to have Lyle play my piano. He played my C3 a few times before I actually bought. He decided to buy a G3 for a few bucks less, so I took the C3.

I'm not sure about Lyle, but I know Pat was a big NRBQ fan in those days.

What I listen to is not normally what I play and what I play for $$$ is not what I like to compose. Sometimes when writing I'll hit that dreaded writer's block. When I do, I throw this on and the ideas start to bubble. Love the synth work and clever evolution of this. Other albums are equal cool.
