My Hollywood TV Music producer friend Steven Weinglass came down and spent one night in our extra tent with his lady. Then during all the Hollywood tales, he pulls out his Blackberry and says "look at this picture" I look, and there he is photographed sitting in an empty theater with Quincy Jones chatting like old buddies. I did not ask where they were, but it must have been during some screening of one or the others projects. Now of course Steve is not as successful as Quincy, however he is developing several TV series and one of them plays on the Internet it is called Destiny. http://insidecineplexstudios.com/category/steven-weinglass/
Anyways isn't it too cool to hang out with Quincy. I think I gotta visit Steve in his territory and see if I can rub elbows with the biggies. I have been invited.
I already met the script writer of Mississippi Burning at his house a few years back, I also met Malcolm Lukens there that night, who played Keys for Roy Buchanan, and a host of others as well.
Now Steve is an old friend of mine from back in New Jersey he hails from Carney, and his late Brother was Leonard Weinglass who was the famous civil rights lawyer. So it is real casual between us.
I wanna jam with those guys.
