Thoughts?

Wasn't the route I was going to go, but living in an area with two research universities, I always keep my eyes peeled for deals when school gets out.

Sounds like a hot deal, just make sure it's not hot. Have him show you Dad's receipt...

LOL - good point. I would definitely be extremely leery if I was still in Boston, or just about any city for that matter. People leave their doors unlocked around here, but a valid point.

If nothing else, have the seller give you a receipt, with the amp model, serial #, and date, and have both of you sign it. It's a minimal amount of protection for you, if the thing turns out to be stolen. You might also want to take a screenshot of the CL ad, for backup.

I'm really still debating because of how loud/heavy this thing is, verses my master plan.

My current plan, since I play keys and guitar in my band, is to get a K10 (or something of that ilk) that could handle both my keys and some type of modeler for the guitar...in one easy to move, stage footprint friendly package.

This would not fit in that plan, but plans can be altered. So I'm balancing if this is a killer deal with, does it make any sense for me to pull the trigger, lol.

Jump on it, if for no other reason than a profit later on. That price is cheap (if it is a legit deal)

Kind of my thoughts, if nothing else, I could probably sell it for $500+ while I finish saving for the K10.
