I've been thinking about a wireless system for my guitar and I have heard both good and bad. The bad being, the signal gets dropped and they're tone robbers. Are there any of you out there that can give me a little insight? I've been looking at the Shure products mostly. There's a Shure BLX14 Guitar Wireless System at $299 and a Shure PGX14 UHF Guitar Wireless System at $319.
I bought a UHF one that's good up to 400 ft. It was $99 at MF on one of their STUPID deals. AKG GB40 Guitar Bug. What the heck, you can't go wrong. Discontinued, now, but others are available now and then.
Keep an eye out.
"Uhhh, like...shut up and play already, dill weed."
Thanks for the input Mooseboy. I've come close to pulling the trigger on one of those a few times. It's just one of those things I don't really need, and I always find myself getting some other piece of gear instead.
Maybe sometime this year...
