Got to love a guitar build out of a wah pedal . With its own build in theramin, too!

Now if only the wah was functional...

Cute Cry Baby guitar! I think the guy should add the fake guitar upper and lower body parts like the ones on those traveling silent guitars to make it easier to hold and play...sounds like he got a good deal and it should be a fun conversation piece. cool

Take care, Larryz

Former Zappa/Duran Duran guit player Warren Cucurullo had a wah pedal built into the back of an old Vox guitar;
did cool things with it.

I don't want to contemplate how he operated it.

The Caparison Venus - yes, it's fretless from the 15th fret up:

That one just looks strange to me. I don't even have the urge to pick it up. Jim

Seems very mandolin-y to me. What about it says guitar?

The tuning - it's 12 string guitar tuning, just an octave higher. Interesting, but I wonder if it projects very well?

Ehhhh...any of the stringed instruments can alter tuning. Thatís not guitar-y enough for me to call it something other than a mando of some kind,

They also make a banjo with a guitar neck in guitar tuning which is a similar concept...I guess if you can have a banjo guitar you could also have a mandolin guitar...though neither of them are really guitars IMHO. cool

Take care, Larryz

Well, it's got 22 frets...those humbuckers are really close together...maybe a 21" scale? It's definitely on the small side.
