It's a shame you don't live closer.
I have a new condition Egnater Rebel 20 head with 1/12 Celestion Cab to include new JJ's tubes.
Price $410.

I was reading about quality control problems with the newer 20 watt model or probably would have bought one.

Not trying to block a sale just seemed to be more than usual out there.

I looked at the Rebel 20. You can get them pretty cheap. But also check out the Rebel 30 - it has the same features as the 20 but with 2 channels. More headroom plus you can still dial it between 1 and 30 watts and mix the EL84s and 6V6s as desired. This amp is waaaay undervalued. I bought my Rebel 30 head used at Guitar Center for $399 ! Could not be happier!
This amp ROCKS!!!
The 20 is excellent as well - just less headroom and only one channel - BUT you can get them for dirt cheap right now. Stratergy's Rebel 20 head with a Celestion 1x12 cab for $410 is a good deal.

I got rid of my 5:25 Express. I LOOOOVED the tones this thing had, but the output tubes were poorly secured, and they came loose....often. The last straw was at a gig.

I did, and they were helpful. It got resolved, but I'd lost faith in its gig-worthiness. Great sounding amp, and I'd have another if the tubes were more secure, but I had to twiddle the settings whenver i swapped out axes. Right now I'm focused on my two ancient PTP dinosaurs, and lovin' 'em! Sure they need more outboard fx, but I already have oodles of pedals. I'm running every axe eventually through this old Lifco 6V6 rig. So far, the V, Tele, LP, and Strat all shine through it. I love the "set it and forget it" aspect that simple amps allow, and I think my small amp needs are addressed. If I ever need a big rig again, I'll likely look for more features, but for now, I'm good.
