I have been on the hunt for one. Lots of ups and downs. I only was able to get this when a fellow from Australia backed out of the deal. Just plugged it in for the first time and it plays and sounds great.

You don't find the single pick up limiting? Or are there other features that compensate?

I don't know yet. Only got about 20 minutes of playing time on it so far. No other gizmos on it. One volume control.

Damn...I hope you come in peace, because it's clear that resistance would be futile!

I cranked it way up and some kind of beam shot out of the tuning keys. smile

The thing sustains like santana. I hit a note..had breakfast came back and it was still ringing nicely.
