I have had an axe fx Ultra (Older model) for over a year now....I bought it right before the axe fx II came out. I am selling my mesa boogie lonestar 2x12 amp and axe fx ultra and getting an axe fx II.

I love the unit. I Couldn't care less if other people like them or not, it is a unit that works great for my situation.

And I kept my tube amp for over a year in case I wanted to go back...never did!
