A lot of the early Led Zeppelin studio stuff was done on a Tele into a cranked, low/medium wattage tube-amp (Supro?), sometimes with a fuzz.

Here's my main squeeze, a guitar I would never sell (image link; too large to display here)...

I think your video has clarity and good sound, I only wish you would have shown what else your guitar can do (ie. clean sound, more than one vibe, etc.) so we could here more of what the guitar sounds like clean, overdriven, reverb, etc...

As to guitars I would never sell, I have none. I would sell 4 of them right now but 7 of them, I'm just not interested in selling at this time. I'm glad you're in love with your axe though!

Any one of my guitars is sellable for 2x what they are worth. Anytime !! Cash only at the time of sale no checks no credit. ;~)

Too many regrets over the years. I am never selling another guitar. Wall space and stands are cheap.

I have no current plans to sell any guitars...but I have considered selling my classical and my A/E fretless bass if doing so would get me something I wanted more. That scenario hasn't cropped up yet.

And should it happen that I actually have to divest myself of guitars for some other reason, at this point, the last two electrics on the block would have to be my Dean Time Capsule Cadillac and my JKG semihollow, and my Tacoma RoadKing might be the last acoustic to get sold. (It would be a tough call, since I don't have as many acoustics...)

My black SG. To quote Charlton Heston, " . . . when they pry it from my cold, dead hands." I'd probably hang on to my black Ovation Legend to keep it company, too - kind of silly to have an electric guitar, but no acoustic. Besides, I've never given up the Prog/Fusion bag, and those two guitars get me there.

The only advice I can give, is, if you are in any doubt or don't need to sell, then don't.

For me, it would be my Epi Sheraton II. Great playing, great sounding, great looking axe. Incredibly versatile as well. Although since I only play Jazz and Blues, versatility is less of a concern.

This one. I don't play it out any more but it is an old 4 bolt Strat I got used around 1978 when I was still in high school. It was my 2nd guitar. I still have my 1st a 65 Mustang. I might as well keep it. It is at Mom and Dad's house under my old bed.

I used to have that guitsr I would never sell. Then I had to sell it...boy, did that ever suck.

Seriously, that guy looks more like a Green Day-ape than a Bluesape!

I have a Blueberry with Satan carved into it. No an actual scene with Satan. Actually, a scene of Satan on every visible panel from every observable angle. Even the back...

I bought it in a blind bid auction. I can't give it away...

My 90' LP standard. Not only is it the best playing LP I have ever held, it was given to me for my 35th BD by my wife... so even if I wanted to sell it - which I don't - I wouldn't.

Count yourself very lucky SEHpicker, I have two buddies that can't sell the guitars their wives bought them, even though they would rather get rid of them...(the guitars that is!).

This is my Strat which I bolted together from bits for myself.



The body came from the West Coast & was shipped to the UK via a friend - the neck is a Squier Fender 50th Anniversary. Two DiMarzio TRS-1s and a Levinson in the middle. Vol, Varitone & active mid-boost are the controls. The trem is a massive block of brass which is locked down hard & matches the brass nut.

I love it - it plays great & sounds great & is, in reality, totally worthless (near enough), so why sell?

Did you re-finish the Strat? That's a very cool finish. Love the Burns 12-string hanging next to it, too.
