That is a koa top, mahogany back.
Mahogany one piece neck, U shape.
Duncan pups, Gotoh tuners.....

List is a shade over $1,400 but I bet it could be had for less.

The tele is actually a bit cheaper by about $100.
BTW Fujigen and several other companies made guitars for some of the best known names in the 1970s and 1980s, their build quality is pretty legendary. Several of these companies made guitars under their own names as well, they are now collectors` items. Orville (by gibson) is just one of those brands.

Fujigen is one of those companies I really like, but don't see much of.

Then again, I live in the Dallas area, so what should I expect?

here is my '86 Fujigen made Ibanez Roadstar2 rg420...yup that is an oiled neck. 100% original and all the pots switches and jack are clean and noise free.
that is velcro on the rear of the headstock to hold my hex key.

Danny I feel for ya. Japan must have invented short attention span. The market here for everything including guitars, fashion and food, changes like a chameleon at an art exhibit. It`s totally different from the kind of place that has every guitar made, from three makers. That`s why Foot Locker didn`t succeed here.

Why is that NICKLE glued to the headstock?

ha ha..actually it is 2 stuck together. originally i used those to "block the trem level. the trem floats slightly above the body , so i slid them between the trem and top of the guitar.

i decided one night at a jam to let it float so i pulled them out and stuck them on the headstock, they have been there since.
