The REAL trick would be to attach a bunch of guitars to an industrial fan and hold out a guitar pick...

Welcome aboard Kuli24! It's Fan-tastic...but not going to be a big seller as it may scratch the sh*t out of your guitar...

The year is young yet, but you have found the winner early..

I'm not particularly happy I invested 33 seconds of my life on this.

And here Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan thought they were so cool using picks attached to drills... they've got nothing on you. Or do they?

I thought you meant you would play the guitar THROUGH the operating fan for that weird sound effect. Whitefang

After watching about 3 seconds of that, I'm convinced. The fan can play guitar better than the guy can sing . . . not that that's saying much.

We'll be eating all these words of mockery when he is hailed as the founder of industrial punk blues, 30 years from now.

Gee, I dunno... Paul and Billy have a tiny edge in the technique department, and I guess their hair is slightly better.
Oh, wait, the amps are WAY better, so it's Paul and Billy ftw.

I've done better than THAT with a fan. WAAAY more betterer. (And I don't mean sycophantic groupies.
)
If you've got active EMG's or similarly hot, sustaining pickups, let a fan blow across your strings for a sort of wind-blown droning bowing-effect, clean or dirty. Playing chords with volume-knob swells for each change while employing a single-repeat echo with some reverb and occasionally dipping or pulling-up on a whammy-bar yields great moody soundscapes.
