The first one almost looks like a leopard...or an ocelot.

Big walnut fan here, but I would be happy to take either of those.

Both ARE very nice, but that first is a wee bit more exotic.
What is it, BTW?

I think I like the walnut the best but the tiger wood is really cool too...I'm guessing a nice clear light satin finish where you can almost still feel the wood would be cool! How about the weight, does the tiger wood weigh lighter or heavier than the walnut? Is the walnut lighter or heavier than the other woods you have used?

Cuban Mahogany- is that the wood in the center of the body assembly?

I'm guessing the Cuban Mahogany is what we have been reffering to as walnut...either way, it's beautiful!

I'll bet they will cost a pretty penny if they ever start importing them to the States, my friends in Canada could get them...but you are right Skip, better to save up for guitars and stay in good health at the same time.

Well my dad`s the cigar guy. I`m not exactly a poster guy for 100% clean living either but when you`re talking about that kind of cost, yeah I`ll take a #2 pencil and dream instead.

Glad to hear that you use managed grove timber no matter where it comes from...
