...had some BRILLIANT performances tonight! Anybody else catch it?

I watched Dustin Hoffman then when the dancer lady was next I hit the hay. Was up at 6 to go to work so I was tahred - that happens when you get old. REALLY wanted to see Buddy Guy, I assume he and Zep were great as always.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm Boggs or did I miss something good?

BTW - wasn't Led Zep a bit rough for the normally stuffy Kennedy Center Honors?

I only caught the Stairway to Heaven performance and it was great!

I thought it was cool to see First Lady, Michelle Obama groovin' to a blues rhythm. Her eyes were closed and her head and shoulders were moving in rhythm to the music. She was in the groove!

It was cool to see Buddy Guy honored - I just caught the tail end of that while channel surfing.

Normally I avoid all awards shows like the plague or telemarketers.

I DVR'd it went back and watched the Buddy Guy and LZ parts... the Buddy Guy tribute was cool. Wasn't thrilled about the Foo Fighters LZ tribute... I like the Foo Fighters but that Taylor Hawkins guy shouldn't sing. Heart doing Stairway was awesome...

Buddy Guy is one of my favorites and I'm glad he is being honored...
