i mean, like, i love wigglesticks, and i hardly ever play accoustics cuz they lack them and volume controls.

Bill and I chimed in when this thread was posted at the beginning of the month. I also posted the 1st youtube of the whammy. I forget what Bill's comments were but he posted a picture of him holding the Martin. My comments were that I didn't care for the sound but could see how it could be used for swampy music using a slide like the background music in the movie Southern Comfort...what happended to our prior comments? (cue the twilight zone music)....do do do do do do do do....

it got moderated (rightly) cuz they are actively seeking donations to fund a trip to summer namm.

I've run a soundhole pickup and flatwounds on an acoustic so there is no reason not to have a wigglestick on one...although for me I'd go full hog and mount a Bigsby on it!

this is more like a floyd for accoustics...you can really whammy, not just wiggle. pretty sick!

I think I'd like a little more wiggle and a little less whammy and would go with the Bigsby (as I really like mine). You would have to put in a solid block of wood in the design at the bottom of the guitar in order to hold it...looks like this design beefed up the bridge area as seen in the two screws holding the bridge down...The Bigsby would also use a roller bridge instead of an acoustic saddle...

So you're gonna put ELECTRIC GUITAR tremelo bridges on an acoustic guitar?

+1 on that volume knob although they now make cords with a volume control at the elbow that will work too...
