long time I didn't post a pic a new stuff I got
I got this second hand guitar yesterday, is Ibanez RG 1451 Prestige. First I was not a big fan of Ibanez. but this one is different from the other Ibanez I try, I don't know if is because this one is made in japan. But I like the neck and this one stay in tune after a lot of play even the g string. and the stock pup are great, I know is not dimarzio pup, but this guitar is great for pinch harmonic and the clean is like a fender strat and when I use disto wow this guitar is great
I know this RG Prestige was made only during 2 year 2010 and 2011. but for me I like it because i'm not a big fan of tremolo on a guitar only those on a fender strat but I didn't use it

that is awesome, i love Ibbies. but i am partial to the edge trem equipped models. lately i have been kind of wanting one of the 25th anniversary models in fluorescent yellow.

You could have done much worse, simus. And if the price was right, it looks good enough to crow about.

I'll tell ya, I wouldn't particularly buy a guitar with that body style, as I lean towards LPs or semi-hollow styles. But if I got it as a GIFT, well, I wouldn't exactly "kick it out of bed", if you know what I mean.

And anyway, if YOU'RE happy, that's all that matters.

I sold a lot of cheap guitar like my 2 squire, my fake Gibson les paul black beauty, my 2 cheap acoustic guitar and a fake fender Stratocaster and other cheap chinesse guitar,now I try carefully all the guitar I bought and I will never buy guitar online anymore. now what I got now is USA made, japan made and the only china made guitar I keep is my Epiphone Tribute 1960

I totally agree that it is much better to play a guitar before buying it rather than buying solely "on spec". But, if you're interested in instruments that are not exactly mainstream, this is seldom possible. Every retailer I'm aware of sells the same lines and often the same models. Even in the unlikely event that the retailer is an "Authorized Dealer" for the brand of you're interested in, they seldom stock more than a few models.

I like doing business w/MF. They give you 45 days to play the instrument and decide if you like it. Unfortunately, if the guitar is over $2,000.00, there is a 20% restocking fee that makes returning the instrument not particularly cost effective. But, if you stay under that $2K mark, you're home free.
