mine has...jeez, i don't even remember it's been so long...
there's a gp8 looped into a gx700, so the "analog" part of the gp8 hits the front end of the gx.. the gx's send (analog) feeds an old marshall 9001 rack preamp (6 12ax7's IIRC), the send from the marshall then hits the return of the gp8, and the output of the preamp then feeds a ps systems power tool (an interesting reactive load/speaker emu/50 watt power amp thing)then finally the digital part of the gx700 is in the loop of the power tool.
the gx700's left and right outs feed a 100 watt a side qsc power amp...so...basically, i can run any tube amp up to 100 watts into this thing in parallel with the rack stuff, mix it, eq it after distortion, and have gutbucket analog pumping 50 watts thru whatever speakers i choose, and digital stuff pristine and loud as hell in stereo. it's a great set up.
i usually run my princeton on top, and use the speaker in the princeton as the cab for the power tool, then run the open back stereo 2x12 with the qsc.
i only break all this crap out if i'm playing someplace BIG or outdoors tho, it's just too much crap to move...that 12 space rack is full, and weighs a metric tonne!!
shoot, be easier to take pics than to try and explain, and i'm pretty sure i got the routing described above slightly off...like i said, it's been a while!!
