Don't look now, but a local guy has just created his dream guitar using 3D printing:

Guy claims this plastic guitar sounds better than most wood guitars. :-)

I think they kind of cheated. It's an awfully long article for being missing on critical details, but that's par for the course for what passes as journalism these days.

It's a new world out there and they are not just using 3D printers to make plastic guitars. They are making new mechanical arms and legs and even guns...laws are in the process to avoid patent infringements and the future of 3D copiers controlling manufacturing machines is going to be beyond our control...just saw it demonstrated this morning on a CBS Charlie Rose news program and we better be watching-out boys and girls!
